Why does AVbyUSB provide only Plug & Play Solutions?

AVbyUSB is a big advocate of simple and easy to use solutions. You do not need a IT degree to operate USB end points that’s for sure.Further, USB conferencing endpoints have come a long way and are now capable of producing high quality, business grade HD output . Thus, making them reliable sources for business grade Audio or Video conferencing. Current generation USB driven PTZ cameras or speakerphones do carry smart functionalities making them ideal for meeting rooms.

Are you saying traditional conference endpoints are phasing out?

Are these solutions easy to install?

Generally most of the USB driven conferencing endpoints are easy to install and can be DIY. If required we can provide professional installation service at a cost, Contact us for a formal quotation.

We use UC platforms like MS Teams, Zoom etc? What do you have?

If you are already using or planning to deploy a UC platform such as like Microsoft Teams, Skype for business, BlueJeans, Zoom; We have got you covered. We display range of options that are certified/optimized for these platforms. There are individual Audio/Video conferencing units or UC bundles, which are a great resource and are one of the easiest ways to get your meeting rooms ready. Simply install the units per specification, sign-in with your credentials and you are done. These solutions replicate your PC client hence you will have familiar look and feel. However, the only catch is that certain computers/PC used in these bundles are locked to the specific platform and only speak its own language.

We use multiple UC Platforms ,What do you offer?

We have seen organizations using multiple UC platforms. Do we need any special cabling in our rooms?

Since most of our offerings are Plug & Play, you do not require any special cabling apart from standard such as power and/or Ethernet connectivity.

Can we use WIFI for network connectivity or do we need ethernet connectivity?

Though WiFi is a good source for internet and can be used we do recommend a dedicated ethernet connectivity.

Can we use existing PC/laptop to be connected to hardware we choose?

Absolutely, you can use your existing PC/laptop and get the endpoints connected.

How does warranty work of the endpoints?

All the endpoints we supply are AU stock and carry local warranty which varies with manufacturer and they vary generally between 1-3 years. If there is any issue with the unit within the warranty time frame you can either contact us or the manufacturer directly. You need your receipt/proof of purchase when raising a warranty claim. Vendor may also ask for serial number of the unit (usually located at the back of unit or on the package box).

What about software updates?

Devices may have periodic software updates. We advise you to get them updated whenever available. Vendors like Poly associate software updates with their annual maintenance (sold separately at the time of hardware purchase) which is not part of product warranty. Remote asset management software’s are available from vendors which allows you to monitor the hardware for a centralized location. Please contactus and we can discuss further in detail.
